Hairiya Bala is a development practitioner, business consultant, and advocate for the wellbeing of women, children, and vulnerable populations. With over a decade experience in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI), community engagement, project coordination, capacity strengthening, and mentorship, she has led and supported impactful initiatives that promote equity, empowerment, and sustainable development across Ghana. Born and raised in Northern Ghana, Hairiya is passionate about creating opportunities for marginalized groups and strengthening community systems to improve health, education, and social outcomes. Her expertise spans program design and implementation, stakeholder engagement, assessments, resource planning, and organizational development. Hairiya holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Strategic Management and Leadership at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). She is also an award-winning leader, having received the Emerging Leader Award from the Accra Business School in recognition of her leadership and contribution to community development. Through her work, Hairiya continues to champion inclusive development, empower communities, and drive meaningful social change.
