Mariama Alhassan is a Gender and Community Development Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in youth empowerment, gender equality, community engagement, and social behavior change communication. As Gender and Clubs Coordinator at REEP Ghana, she leads, initiatives and promote girls' leadership, menstrual health, and gender-responsive programme in schools and communities. She has extensive experience coordinating youth clubs, mentoring girls, conducting community sensitization campaigns, and facilitating stakeholder engagement. Mariama holds diplomas in Youth Empowerment from Silkeborg Hojskole in Denmark and diploma Business Studies (Marketing) Tamale Technical University. Mariam is passionate about advancing the rights, leadership, and wellbeing of women, girls, and vulnerable in society.
