The Sanitation and Hygiene Education for All (SHE4ALL) project seeks to improve sanitation and health education and the Sanitation and Hygiene (SH) situation in schools and communities in three (3) districts in the Northern Region of Ghana. Specifically, the project seeks to pursue the following objectives:

The Sanitation and Hygiene Education for All (SHE4ALL) project seeks to improve sanitation and health education and the Sanitation and Hygiene (SH) situation in schools and communities in three (3) districts in the Northern Region of Ghana. Specifically, the project seeks to pursue the following objectives:

ORGANISING: Bringing community structures and stakeholders together for an enhanced conscious and passionate sanitation and health citizenry in 3 districts (Kumbungu District, Tolon District, and Savelugu Municipal) in Northern Region of Ghana.

EMPOWERMENT: Strengthened and capacitated local community structures (REEP girls’ clubs, school mothers, patrons, REEP ambassadors, WATCH committees, community gatekeepers, traditional and religious authorities) for civic action on sanitation and hygiene management.

PARTNERSHIP FOR ADVOCACY: Improved partnership between REEP-Ghana and other CSO actors, the local Ghana Health Service, District Sanitation departments and Ghana Education Service (state actors). A stronger network within CSOs will assist REEP in pursuing joint awareness creation.
