ABOUT US
Rural Engagement and Empowerment Programme Ghana LBG (REEP) is a rural-based development organization aimed at creating possibilities for rural development.
REEP is committed to tackling the complexities of both access and quality issues through networking with stakeholders and partners like Ghana Education Service, Ghana Health Service and other NGOs. The unique approach of REEP is that the organization is born out of the communities in which it operates. It has become known as a grassroots organization that works for, by, and with the people, at their very own level, with all-important community structures forming a part of REEP and carrying a role.
Our long time Danish Partner 100% for the Children will take part in the implementation as consultant in modeling trainings for the citizen groups social accountability tools. 100% for the Children (100%) works towards improving the living conditions and strengthening the rights of the most vulnerable children and youth in Kenya and Ghana. We work particularly from a rights-based approach focusing on access to services for marginalized groups, but also influence, through advocacy and capacity building of key actors. 100% focus on young people actively shaping their societies through youth leadership, participation, capacity building, campaigns and advocacy work. Peer-to-peer efforts are part of every partnership. CISU-supported initiatives like Unheard Voices, the I AM campaign, the REPOSITION project, My Voice My Vote, REEP ON THE MOVE and GREAT reflect the peer-to-peer-based advocacy focus.
